P3S Staff update 30/04/20

Hi P3S!

Hope you and your families are all keeping safe and well.

It feels very strange not seeing you on a Tuesday morning and not having our regular Lego group… I’m missing the fun we normally have being creative and working together as a team building sharks, dinosaurs, planes, trains and more. If anyone has Lego at home and fancies a little challenge, I’ve put a little 30-day challenge below feel free to give them all or some of them a go, there’s some good ones there.

Hope you’ve all had a fantastic Easter, what did you get up to for Easter? Did you paint eggs? Did you go rolling eggs? Maybe you went an Easter walk with family?

How are you getting on with your home learning pack? Has anyone been doing any reading? One of my favourite authors was and still is Roald Dahl. Have you ever read any of his books? They are good. Or maybe you’ve been practising your maths, adding, taking away, or times tables, I always enjoy the 2, 5,10 times tables as the other ones are a bit more difficult but I’m sure you are much better at remembering your tables facts than me.

I hope you’re all managing to get out and enjoy the nice weather. Maybe you are able to play in your garden or maybe, like me, you don’t have a garden but you can still go a little walk and enjoy the sunshine.

I hope you’re all staying safe and keeping well. I cannot wait to see you all again soon.

Miss Ward 😊

P3S Teacher Update 03/04/20

Hello Everyone,

Like all of you I am working at home and missing the freedom of going out when and where I want but during my daily walks with my children we have been taking part in an eye spy game. The idea is to display a picture in your window each week following the themes below. We have had great fun spotting everyone’s fabulous art work and so I decided to join in and painted my window using facepaints

I got a little ahead of myself and painted the Easter Bunny earlier this week….what do you think? Why not join in and start a mass eye spy hunt in your area and don’t forget to send me some of your pictures, the colourful the better.

Keep safe and I hope to see you all very soon!

Mrs Kerr

P3S Teacher update 26/3/20

Hiya P3S!

We hope you and your families are well and doing ok.

We are missing you lots and it feels very strange not seeing you all.

We know what fantastic children you are, you will be trying hard at home just like you do in school.

We hope you are enjoying doing some of the activities in your home pack but don’t worry if you can’t manage them all. It is important you are helping out and chilling out too!

Help round the house by keeping your room tidy, and asking if there are any jobs you can do. Keep reading books and listening to stories.

If you are looking for something to keep you busy here is a fun activity you can try indoors or outdoors depending on the weather!

Scavenger Hunt – Indoors try to find something beginning with each letter of the alphabet and collect them all. Can you get all 26?

Outdoors  – try to spot something beginning with each letter of the alphabet like Eye Spy. Or here is a nature one you could try. Keep remembering to wash your hands.

Bye for now kids. Be good and be kind.

Love from

Mrs Haggart and Mrs Shanks
