Hello Primary 2N,
Mr Hunter here! I have been missing you all lots and lots, so I decided it would be nice to share with you some of the fun things I have been up to while in the house. As you can see, I have been rather busy:
I spent one morning making a robot out of bits and bobs which were lying around the house. This was great fun; I highly recommend giving this a go. I have decided to call the robot “Roberta” and she keeps me company if I’m feeling a little bored.
I have also really enjoyed playing princesses with my daughter and trying my best to fit inside her little princess castle. She says that I am too big and too silly. She may be right, but it is great fun to use our imagination in all sorts of fun ways.
I am also very busy writing songs and rocking out on my ukulele. Maybe you lot would like to hear a song when we are all back at school? I’m a little bit shy, but I am sure if you all clap along I will be able to perform for you.
The final thing I LOVE doing is reading stories or having them read to me. In the picture I am reading “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it!
These are some of the weird and wonderful things I have been up to so far. I am sure I will be up to loads more and can’t wait to tell you all about it soon.
Before I go maybe I can leave you all with a little challenge? Could you draw me a picture of something you have enjoyed doing whilst at home? Anything you like. You can show me the pictures when we get back to school and tell me all about your adventures.
Take care of yourselves and those around you,
