We set off by train on a wet and windy day for our summer outing to Kinghorn but the excitement of the train journey and heading over the Forth Rail bridge was an amazing and exciting experience.
The children had so much fun, even in the rain, exploring the beach, rock pools and going down to the sea!!
As part of our planned trip we had arranged a visit to explore the Royal National Lifeboat Institute and the children and parents were shown round, allowed to try on some of the equipment, see the working lifeboat and had the chance to dry off with a nice cup of tea!
Many thanks to the RNLI and all the families who embraced the adventure.
For all our younger children coming back to nursery in August 2017 we had a wonderful teddy bear’s picnic in the environmental garden after playing some party games.
On returning to the nursery garden we had even more fun with the big parachute!!
Have a fun and safe holiday and we look forward to seeing you in August.
To celebrate saying farewell to nursery for the children who are moving on to Primary 1 in August we all joined in party games then had a lovely party snack in the school dining hall.
Followed by so much fun and laughter in the school hall with our entertainer, Jango Starr, who did lots of funny tricks and magic to make us laugh and giggle.
Amelia, Rory, Ellie, Sainath, Cole and Charlotte all had the opportunity to be a magician’s assistant and perform some brilliant magic!
Our parents came to join us in the hall at 10.45am to watch the presentation from Miss Stewart, our headteacher, as each child received their certificate and gift.
We wish everyone all the very best for Primary One.
