P3 Craigroyston Primary pupil Lennan Robertoson was chosen from hundreds of entries as a finalist in the Virgin Money Edinburgh Fireworks Poster Competition. He and 9 other finalists were shortlisted and got to meet Radio Forth DJ’s and other celebrities at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday evening. While not in the top 3, Lennan’s amazing picture was highly commended and he received a goodie bag and special mug with his picture printed on it. Well done Lennan!
We learned how to make a Spinner today with Mr Blair from the Craft, Design and Technology department.
Mr Blair showed us how to draw round a hexagon template to make our spinner- Hannah

Next, we rubbed our spinners on sandpaper, to get all the little spiky bits off. – Mia

P5 pupils have been learning about the Scottish Wars of Independence. They made these fantastic sheilds as part of their homework. They were later used in a hostorical re-enactment of the Battle of Bannockburn. Scotland won in our re-enactment.

All of our nursery children & families are invited to our annual summer outing to North Berwick on Thursday 23rd June.
Meet us at Waverley Station at 9:30, all children must be accompanied by an adult and please purchase your day return ticket in advance.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring sports gear for games on the beach.
From August 17th 2016, the cost of a school meal will increase for children in P4-P7 to £2.05.
